An Education - Lone Scherfig (2009)

Sorry, another movie but i've just finished to watch it and i can't to not share it !
Based on an autobiography of a british journalist Lynn Barber, the screenplay was written by Nick Hornby, one of my favorites writers.
It speaks about the first steps toward maturity, blindness of love and the effervescent of the sixties.

  1. I liked it too, but I was not too crazy about that ending (SPOILER ALERT: so, if the guy were not married it would be OK for her to abandon everything she always wanted to do?)

    Have a lovely week!

  2. yes, but she's very young (only sixteen), when you begin to fall in love for the first time, it's very hard to stay reasonable, love can make doing stupid things or bad choices... Her family is more guilty ! Have a sweet week too !
